I work with women across the North and South Okanagan who want length and density that nobody clocks. Every extension starts with a real hair-health audit, not a guess, because the method that installs fastest is not always the one your hair can carry. What you leave with looks like more of you, not something added on.

Recent installs, colour matches, and what a normal week in the studio looks like.
Most clients who come to me have already tried something sensible.
The clip-ins bought with real hope, now living in a drawer. They looked right in the store. They didn’t match, or they slipped, or they just became one more thing to deal with every morning.
The backcombing and heat styling, done quietly every day to fake volume that isn’t there anymore. It works, a little, for a few hours. It also wears the hair down further, which was never the plan.
A faster or cheaper appointment somewhere else that didn’t hold up. Beads or tape that were never matched to your actual density or scalp, so it either looked added on or didn’t last.
None of that was the wrong instinct. It just started in the wrong place, with a method chosen before anyone actually looked at your hair.
Three parts to it. Each one exists to stop a specific thing going wrong, and each one has a page of its own.
Density, scalp condition, and elasticity get checked before any method gets recommended, so what goes in is right for your hair, not just what’s fastest to install. That assessment is also where a method gets ruled out, which happens more often than most people expect.
If you’re still working out which method you’re even asking about, start with the twelve things that decide it.

Colour matching, toning, and cut and blend are their own dedicated work, not an afterthought squeezed into install day, because a rushed match is how extensions end up looking obviously added on. Hair is matched against two or three tones rather than one, since a single flat shade is what gives it away in daylight.

Move-up timing, aftercare, and what a normal appointment looks like are all covered at consultation, before you commit to anything, so there’s no surprise four weeks in. For most people that means a one to two hour appointment every four to six weeks, and it gets explained in full rather than mentioned in passing.
See the full process →A client who had only ever worn wigs came in for two rows of machine weft extensions. She said she was never going back to wigs again, and she left the wigs behind that same day.
“I love my hair. That is all.”
“I never knew wearing full-time extensions could be this comfortable. This is a game changer from my clip-ins.”
Not something that reads as obviously added on. See which method actually matches your density.
